6 Weight Gain Tips For Skinny People To Consume More Calories In ONE SITTING! Part 5

Welcome back to part 5 of the series. I have been getting some good feedback from most people and have been getting some requests for another part so here it is!

25) TIME YOURSELF AND HIT PR’S

Getting bigger in the weight room is pretty much the same thing as in the kitchen in the sense that when you are in the weight room you want to add more plates to the bar and in the kitchen you want to add more food to the plate. Regardless of the kitchen or the gym you want to hit a PR (personal record) and beat your last meal or workout. A PR in the gym could be when you hit a bit more weight than last week or when you hit used the same weight but you got more reps in. A PR in the kitchen when trying to put on size would be to add a bit of food to the plate or to eat the same meal but in a bit less time, simple enough right?

In other words, if you want to keep making progress on your journey to getting bigger then something has got to change. If you just stagnate and you are lifting the same weights for the same amount of reps and eating the same foods in the same amount of time then you are pretty much in maintenance mode at that point.

26) DON’T PUT YOUR FORK OR HAND DOWN WHEN EATING

I’ve noticed that skinny people have a tendency to put their fork or hands down when eating because they subconsciously can’t handle the food. If you are always putting your utensil(s) down between every bite then you will be killing precious time, you will reach the 15-20 minute mark faster and then you will pretty much be full at that point.

I’ve also noticed that the biggest people at the table not only minimize their talking, but they also never let go of their utensil until they are done their meal. For now on I want you to marry and be committed to your utensil. Stop dropping it on the floor and putting it down for 2 minutes after every bite, grip it tight and don’t let go of it throughout the meal.

This may sound like a stupid tip, but if you really watch a skinny person eat then you will notice that they put their utensil(s) down at least 10 times throughout the meal and its unacceptable if weight gain is the goal

27) DRINK WITH YOUR NON-DOMINANT HAND

Not only do you want to eat your food with your dominant hand, but you want to drink with your non-dominant hand because if you use your dominant hand to drink and eat then you have to go back and forth, its annoying and its going to kill and waste precious time so for now on use the other hand more wisely.

This seems like a subtle tip and I agree that it is too, but this tip alone could potentially save you atleast 2 minutes before the 15-20 minute mark.

28) USE WATER TO HELP YOU DOWN MORE FOOD

I have said in the past that too much water could be very heavy in your stomach and this could lead to you being full a lot faster and thus not finishing your plate, but there are exceptions. One of the cases in which a bit of water could be beneficial for finishing your meal faster and consuming more food is to mostly only use water for the bites that you are struggling with. For example, you don’t want to have to sip water after every bite, but if you are chewing on a piece of steak and it is taking too long to down it then in that case you could use your water to help do that.

29) ADD FORMS OF OIL, SPICES..ETC TO HELP YOU DOWN MORE CALORIES (WHEN APPROPRIATE)

For all of the skinny people who want to consume more calories in one sitting then a little trick is to put olive oil or spices on certain meals (when appropriate) because they will deliver extra calories, but you will barely even taste it so its like free calories in a sense.

30) USE CONDIMENTS TO YOUR ADVANTAGE

On top of the forms of oils and spices, you can also use certain condiments to your advantage on certain meals when it is appropriate because they deliver extra calories, compliment your food and it will help you eat faster because it will taste better.

CONCLUSION:

There you have it, there are currently 30 tips and tools that you can use to your advantage in order to consume more calories at a faster rate in one sitting. At the end of the day all of this information is cool, but the more important thing is that you apply it!g
